Fresh Prince Appreciation..

Im a YouTube-ing ass nigga right? So while going through some of my favorite videos and wondering what to blog about next, I thought.. why not show some more appreciation... A coupla entries ago I showed my appreciation with Isaac Hayes.. well now its Fresh Prince's turn.



This theme song is one of the most known theme songs ever in history, at least in my opinion. "Now this is a story, all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down..." We all know all the words, all the actions during the words.. like when he whistles for the cab.. or when he waves his hands when he says, "smell ya later".. or when he rolls his head when he's at the door. We all know it.. Sidebar.. my nigga Will did have on some real OG jordan 5's on too.. i gotta respect him for that..



My nigga Will used to be a trend setter at an early age.. he the one that had us wearing all the fresh Starter caps back in the day.. he had all colors.. he had all the fresh ass shoes every week.. I can remember seeing him wearing the Barkleys, Jordans, Pennys, David Robinsons, and Alonzo Mornings.. even as a kids i noticed all of these things... he had all the CrossColors outfits early.. everything..
The show had stupid comedy, dumb Hilary and her cliff-jumping fiance.. Geoffery, the witty-one-liner. He had all the jokes.. Ashley and her cute self... remember when she was playing the drums and Will was "Dumb Dancing" as he called.. "I DONT KNOW WHYYYY, I PLAN TO STAY.. GET YOUR BOOTY ON THE FLOOR TONIGHT.. MAKE MY DAY.."
or when Carlton and Will was apologizing to Ashley with the puppets and Will was beatboxing.. im cheesing hard just thinkin about it... I used to laugh everytime I saw Jazz wearing the same shirt.. cuz I knew he was goin to get thrown out the door.. Or do you remember when Uncle Phil was trying on toupe's.. Man.. there's soo many memories.. U cant forget the Carlton Dance.. Heres a few clips I thought I would share..
