HOT WINTER...They gettin scared (Update1)

As perhaps the least productive participant on this blog, I jus find it fair to say, that it isnt that I dont have anything to say, its perhaps the opposite... but I digress. Im currently working on about 30 blogs right now (no lie) but until then, I found this topic currently undeniable since it kinda has a deadline on it. As im currently working on 2 or 3 blogs about the musical reccesion, I found it odd that the rap industry has taken on an integral role in fixin this shit. And as I learn new shit everday, i dont know whether to be scared... or excited in the coming months... but I guess time will time, right??

Its a reccession, and errbody broke (man, ive used that line so many times, but you just dont know it yet) but rappers are feeling that pinch too. By the way, just like civil servants (you know, them bullshit ass police you dont like, and ect cetera) you (ME!) pay a rappers salary... and when was the last time you paid them.... hahaha... chances are, not at all. You (and I) been stealing from them. And I think they pockets, and whoever they answer too... they pockets is feeling a little empty. Remember when artists like Usher... or even bigger... Dr. Dre go LIGHT YEARS without releasing new material??? well, apparently, all that shit is ending. I mean, jus this year alone, we've already had HUGE releases from the like of Lil Wayne, T.I., Young Jeezy, Plies, Rick Ross, and even Nas (okay, so only I bought it, but yo dumb ass is missing out, shit) Anyway, and we had some small releases from huge profile people, but no sales... like Nelly (biggest flop), G-unit, Ashanti, and even Usher and Mariah (they did not even close live up to expectations) But even still, 2008 is provin to be a huge years for high-profile releases. Okay okay, ill get to the point, geez.

WHY THE HELL ARE SO MANY ARTISTS TRYNA RELEASE 4TH QUARTER???? And when I say 4th quarter, I mean October-December 2008. Now, I been following music for years. And one thing I learned is that 4th quarter is when the BIG HOMIES... THE MONEYMAKERS release albums. You know, the Jay-Zs, Kanyes, 50 Cents, Alicia Keys, Beyonces, etc. And you know that if you a new dude on the block, you kinda stay away. But not this year. Apparently at them record labels, they are saying, "Put that shit out RIGHT NOW, so we can make some money..."!!! Now I dont know about you but Im broke too, just like the rest of the country... but they gon make you buy some shit. Now lemme put you on to what Im hearing. First, they was saying Jay-Z gon make Blueprint 3 (okay, we expected that, since he kinda fighting the other Mr. Carter right now) then Kanye announces another album soon afterwards, and we know he takes about 2 years per album. Then 50 (another 2 year dude) announces an album, then the shit just blows up. Im overwhelmed personally. So Ill update this, but right now, Ill just give you an imcomplete list:

Jay-z with Blueprint 3 (Its time for Jigga to return, Hov fall back. But now, theyre talking about moving it back to 2009. I guess he dont wanna drop with the other heavyweights. Might tarnish his legacy, lol)
Kanye with 808 and Heartbreak (which I AM NOT EXCITED FOR, I do not like what Ive heard- which is about 4 tracks- and he's already said its gon be all singing. ALL SINGING FROM KANYE, DOING THAT T-PAIN SHIT UGGHHH. and then on top of that, he's releasing ANOTHER album in June!!!!)
50 Cent with Before I Self Destruct (and he will)
Plies (yes, ANOTHER PLIES ALBUM THIS YEAR, I DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE FIRST TWO GOON FUCKERIES)

But like I said, this is an incomplete list, but its still mad crazy son, and this could be a huge year for the hip hop industry... or a huge letdown, and a lot of you favorite artists could disappear for a while. But Im looking forward to it... matter of fact, where my iPod. (shit, where is it???) I dont know could a HOT WINTER.
