Election Night

Man.. I heard this and had to share it..
Nas is good with his words on this one..
this day is going down in history just like 9/11
We are all gonna remember how we are feeling tonight..
we are all gonna remember what we did today...
We are all gonna remember how nice it was outside..
how cheap gas was.. how nice everyone one was in the lines..
how u couldnt see a facebook or myspace status that didnt have to do with Obama..
how, if you did see one, they seem kinda weird for the moment...
you remember how, if you seen a McCain/Palin sign.. you wanted to kick the shit out of it..

We are remember how good we all feel inside.. this is such a great feeling..
we are all wondering.. WHO the fuck dont want US to change??
Im wondering where all the young mccain supporters are?
Im wondering what President Obama is doing right now.. watchin the same things we are.. I wonder how good he feels...
I wonder how heavy his heart is not being able to share this with his Grandma..

I need an Obama shirt now..

I just wanna go to sleep and wake up and see the pictures of the US with a dummy amount of blue states... Im so proud of OHIO.. Im so proud of my young people.. not just black.. but all of us.. we know what we need..

We dont have to say, YES WE CAN.. we can all say.. YES WE DID.. We did it America.. the world is watching us.. and I know they are happy for us.. I hope everyone is ready.. the Obamas and Bidens.. We are so ready.. we know its gonna take time.. but dammit.. this is the first step we were waiting on... just at least bring us some jobs.. fund some education or something..

Im just happy.. I know its early.. but we did it.. fuck it.. I said it.. we did it.. Im happy.. yall keep praying for Obama.. everyday..and yall thank God for EVERYTHING.. Thank God for all the crap we been through.. thank God for letting us get through it all.. and we should all pray that Barack will be our Moses and lead us to where we need to be.. Stay praying..

What u Think tho?

I'm soooooooo proud of all of us, ESPECIALLY the youth who got out there and stood up and voted!
I have never in my life felt so many emotions at once. I know we still have a long road to run, but this was a HUMONGOUS first step and I'm sooo proud to say that I voted and was counted.
I will never forget this day as long as I live.
