I really don't really think he got the recognition that he should have gotten. Im a RNB head... as I always say.. and he has made some hits.. Im salty that this talent has been taken from us. We should all remember the hits he was a part of back in the day.. like.. Cheers 2 U.. I mean thats enough right there to give respect to.. The song was the shit.. and then thinking of that song, what other song sounds kind of like that that was a banger??? So Anxious. Yes, Static co-wrote that song.. if you pay attention, you can hear him singing in the backgroud.. we alllll loved that song.. Also, just on that Cd.. he wrote, Same ol G, Number #1 ("I I I Cant see you.." ), and Final Warning which featured Aaliyah. Even before all of those hits, he wrote Pony, we all know that jump started Ginuwines career. Do you remember Timbaland and Magoos song, "We At It Again"? if so.. you most likely remember the chorus.. and of course he sang it..."now off the top.. from the candy store to the coffee shop"
Just look at the video real quick and see him and Aaliyah.. two greats gone..




Also, he wrote one of my old skool favorite songs.. Nicole Wrays "Eyes Better Not Wander"... nigga.. that cd was my shit... and that song stuck out.. I love it.. remember it? if not.. heres a visual reminder..






Also.. dont forget that he def helped out Aaliyah.. he wrote "Are You That Somebody", "Try Again", "We Need a Resolution", "Back in One Piece", "More That A Woman", "Rock The Boat"... shit I think he wrote damn near errry song on that last Cd of hers.. and we allll loved that..



Also, Some more songs are Truth Hurts song, "Addictive", we was all jumpin to that when it came out..



He did "Change The Game" by Jay Z.. you can hear him singing the hook on that one.. he did a song for Nas called "U Owe Me"... Shawty.. say whats your price? That was my shit... He also did "Crank It Up" for David Banner.. so we see that he didn't just have the ballads.. he had us jumping too..



Some more noteables are "Juicy" & "Hotline" by Pretty Ricky, I actually liked this song a lot... and this one throwback hit we all loved... Destiny's Child "Say My Name" remix... I could play this today and someone would say "Thats my soooong".. if no one else would say it, I would..

This was on Timberlands CD.. I think it was on "Tim's Bio", and these dudes got all sexy on us on this song.. its perfect for when you wanna take care of your gurl for her birthday... they got some pointers for you to use.. go find this one too

Timbaland Ft Static & Aaliyah - I Am Music

When I say this is a beautiful song, its an understatment. This is such a nice song. My baby Aaliyah sounds so nice... and Static got his groove going on this one.. and the song is so real.. they are speaking as if they are music.. and are with us all the time.. in a sense, they are... they arent with us in physical form, they are with us in their music and how they touched us.. this is the shit.. you gotta get this one..

Hopefully all of this info will get you on the hunt for some good rnb that he left us with bc its out there. With all of these songs listed.. this sound like it would be a good ass mixtape right?
