Furthermore, i like to drink. ITS GREAT. Puts you in a wonderful state of mind, its legal compared to smoking which i done its cool but losing brain cells over time and long-term effects are not cool, besides im already on the liver transplant list at my local hospital, ...kidding.

Lots of folks always wanna know im lissenin to at the moment, yea i dl music, and ima tell you why... the artist and their crew leak it. it creates a buzz about their upcoming project/mixtape/album. if an artist didnt want their stuff leaked they wouldnt allow it to happen. period. if you an artist and you know a song leaked you would immediate fix your inner circle...think about it stan in the midwest was NOT in the studio after u completed that last song...ergo, I firmly believe artists leak/tell some to do it for them. BUT they expect you the listener/consumer/customer to go buy the album and still support them which you should if you like them.
ANYWAYS---thats my position on that.

In earlier post I spoke of people that were right under the radar, ready to blow..
1st it was Jazmine Sullivan ((we see where shes at now)), and 2nd was Dear Jayne ((no where to be found))... but next is a group that I have personal interest in. The group is called Electrik Red


I been listening to their songs for a few month now and I just love their stuff.. They are a group comprised of dancers and singers that have been in the entertainment business for a few year now, but wanted to take things in a differnet direction. Their subjects are usually things unspoken by ladies ((listen to "We Fuck You")) but it is entertaining. Currently they areon thier third single, called "So Good". I was playin this about a month or so back and Roniquia was over giving me some music and she was like, "Are you listening to Total again?".. NO.. these gurls are a mixture of Kelis and En Vogue. If you listen, you will exactly understand. They have toured with Usher and Neyo and are gettin set to drop their debut album soon. I think with better promotion they could make it. It aint like Daniky Kane is gonna knock them out.. it aint too many female groups out here.. I mean it hardly any good female artist period.

If you are an NBA fan, you have probably been loving this season. Its full of buzzer beaters, blow out and MVP discussions.. Everyone is showin up and I dont remember seeing so many good games on TV. Every night or every other night theres a new story. Well, me being 26.. I do remember the good days that all these young NBA player got their game from. they got it from MIKE. So im thinking the title is a reference to a lyric in "Bed"... when he says that repeatedly.. and it just makes since for it bein his second cd.. Im not really a fan of his, for some reason, so I was hesitant on listenin to the whole body of work.. but i did it.. just for u...

This is just him singin a song to a live audience with the lyrics bein titles of his songs that he came with.. pretty slick with the word play forreal..

2. Its Yours
This sound like a song that Lloyd would sing... it got the nice strong beat that would remind u of Lloyds "Street Love" or Ciaras "Promise".. its really nice.. this will def make it to a DJDURL mixtape.. i give this the stamp.. He speaks on how he cant get enough of his lady.. and how his bosy is hers...

3. Fall
I like the concept.. sometimes you try your hardest not to fall for someone.. but you cant always help it.. they end up bein on your mind when you wake.. and you want to see them all the time.. she wasnt supposed to be nothin but another chick.. this song takes u along the mental ride he is going through..

4. Don't Go
Great song.. he speaks on how life just aint life when she aint around.. so he dont want her to leave.. he worries that this might be the last time she might leave.. so he would let her go.. and this is his plea for her to stay.. "DONT GO.. you make living dificult when youre not here with me"... DEEP..

5. Wrong Lover ft Rick Ross..
Im really feeling this concept.. its about a how chicks seem to rush love.. and choose someone too quick.. but sometimes a man wants what he had back.. so this song breaks down his scenario of seein a chick he once had that dipped on him too quick.. HE seems her at the club and lets her know that she chose the "wrong lover".. Rick Ross adds more "nigga-dom" to this.. his story is of his chick that left him for a football player bc of the fast money, now dude is injured, not makin money like he is, so he tryna get her back..

6. Run Into My Arms
This is him just lettin his gurl know that she aint gotta worry about nothin. Anything needed will be taken care of by her protector, him.. This is a goood ass song.. I can see myself singing this one..

7. Sing 2 U
This is a definite must listen.. He started off on some H-Town type shit.. then flips it to some old skool name droppin on how he wants to sing to her.. listenin to this, this man must have a good ass chick close to him for inspiration.. cuz damn, he tryna be the man on this whole album.. i need that.. this is a great song.. he has references to H Town, Marvin Gaye, Jodeci, and R Kelly.. it dont get too much sexier, right ladies?

8. Lights Go Out
This shit right here.. this is on some DJDURL - Bedtime type shit.. he speaks on a chick that he been wanting, that finally seen things his way on hookin up.. and he speaks on how she better wait til "the lights go out".. its gonna be something.. i can def agree.. cuz I aint gonna tell you nothin about whats gonna happen, im just tell you to wait til them lights go out.. no more talking, no more teasing... he said it right on this one..

9 Make That Sound
You can tell by the title what this is about.. he speaks on how his neighbors is gonna hear her "Make that sound".. so his solution is to turn up the radio and TV so everyone wont have to hear... then she will be about to yell as loud as she wants..

10. Forever aint Enough
finally, a love song.. not just about sex.. this is about how his love would last so long that "forever aint enough". This is a pretty song ( I say that at the risk of sounding soft).. its sang really nice.. and it shows some good range..

11. Fly
Thought this one was about me off rip.. so I had to listen.. This is actually about letting someone go.. letting them "Fly" and hoping that they fly back.. sometimes you gotta do that.. This is deep though.. im really thinking he has a deep meaning to thing, like some type of story behind this one.. I like it..

12. Homeless
Touching song.. speaks on how anyone could be homeless.. and speaks on hard times for a few people.. he just brings awareness to a situation that effects people in different ways, everyday.. if it was you, what would you do? I cant imagine

13. I Tried
Came on on some rock and roll, guitar hero type shit.. Ok then, switch it up on them.. he speaks on how he works hard to make things work.. and she aint feelin it, or im.. and he just speaks on how much he tried.. his range is shown on this one...


Man.. after this one.. Im a fan.. he did is thing on ALL the tracks.. good content, range and just a good body or work.. I would def give this an 8 out of 10.. this exceeded my expectations..

Man.. i been waiting so long for this one.. It was supposed to drop back in November/December.. then pushed back to Valentines day-ish.. and now set to fly out the shelves on March 10th next to J Holidays.. Theres been a few leaked songs, but I knew that the whole cd had to be listened to in whole, bc the last cd was all one cohesive blend of RnB and I knew this would be the same..

1. Intro
I couldnt tell what the noise is on this.. it sound like someone lifting weights.. it only last for like 6 seconds.. and then goes right into....

2. Rockin that Shit
We all know how this song gets down.. he goes too hard painting this picture for us.. Sometimes thats all you can say when u see a bad chick in a bad outfit, with a mean walk.. all you can say is "she rockin that shit"... and i think the cuss word was appropriate.. it makes it have a littl more meaning.. check for the remix video droppin soon too..

3. Walking on The Moon ft Kanye
He channels his inner Prince and MJ on this one.. he got his space-age, fast beat.. his background "wooo woo woooo".. and u could just picture this video having a lot of smoke and silver colors in it.. haaa.. but he speaking on how whatever she does, takes him outta this world, and has him "Walkin on the Moon".. Ye adds some good as lyrics, man I cant wait til he raps again.. he raps sorta like how he did on "Number 1".. he spits..

4. My Love ft Mariah Carey
This is his next single.. this is classic Dream, it make u rock and snap.. you def gonna nod your head on this one.. he speaks on who gurls in the background dont know shit about his love for his gurl.. man Mariah sounds good on this one.. I can wait til her next project, the dream is producing it.. so its gonna jump, flat out..

5. Put It Down
This some people fav song.. its a sexy sexy sexy song.. he speaks on different ways he plans to put it down.. repeatedly.. over and over again.. this reminds me of some ol R Kelly type shit.. sprinkled with the Dream.. sound like the Dream listened to 12 Play 4th Quarter... this couldda been on that..

6. Sweat It Out
This one is funny.. she tell her gurl she better go ahead and call her beautician right now before it goes down, cuz he bout to mess it up and they bout to "sweat it out"... man, I feel him tho.. how are we supposed to act when we see our chick get her hair done? This when she gonna look her best, and we gonna wanna jump right in.. "you shouldda got braids".. haa, he got that off..

7. Take Her Home To Mama
This is not really a good song to me.. its a lil too simple.. he couldda give this one away or something.. its a lil too repeatitive.. to the point of being annoying.. I like it til the chorus come up.. then thats where it goes down.. He sound like he was just playin around on some bored shit..

8. Love Vs. Money
I like how this just flow right in tho.. This song is the shit tho.. it hits hard with bass tho.. he speaks on how he had such a good thing.. but something came in between him and his lover.. he speaks on how him not being home and being in the club gave someone else a chance to come and replace him.. Money aint a match for love.. and he thought money was enough.. it aint..

He gets even deeper with the dubject on this one.. and lets you know.. when love is the problem.. cant nothin solve it.. this makes me really think back to those Nivea interviews that has been surfacing lately (See WSHH if you dont know).. he really had to get some shit off his chest about her on this one..

This is my favorite song on this cd.. its simple.. and it builds up.. Ladies, dont let them play this in the club.. you gonna get your wrist grabbed, and some nigga gonna try to grind on you.. this one is SERIOUS.. and he speak on track 7 .. go head and research it.. he did his damn thing on this one.. BEDTIME worthy..

This one has been leaked out for a minute.. and it got Lil Jon joinin in on Dreams love for the booties.. man thats why he is my nigga.. my chick gotta have one of those.. flat out.. the beat is jumpin.. def a club track too..

Kanye West Storytellers VH1

This was a really good show.. i caught most of it before i went out Saturday night and I was stuck, it made me late.. bc it was really interesting...
Me and my musical mind loves when I hear background stories to songs, and Kanye explains his inspirations to his 808s and Heartbreaks albums and explains a few of the concepts and lines throughout the cd..
His performancing were really good and he sounds damn near just like the cd when he is singing it live.. Since I already like the cd, seein him performing it was even better.. I wasnt one of the lucky ones to go to the concert, so this is prolly as close as I will get..

Even after being distracted by his hair and clothes, I was watching his actions on stage.. you can tell he is more than just a weirdo.. his is sort of like a musical genius.. I can tell that his visions everything how he wants it to look, bc everything he does is soooo far left, that a regular mind wouldnt even think of it..


When you look at the stage, or the lighting... its perfect for the show.. throughout the show, the lighting goes up and down and changes color due to the mood, and they all make since... and his dances are like a lil kid who just got rewarded with his favorite ice cream cone.. but im sure its his energy coming out with the music... sort of like when a singer makes an ugly face when they hit that high note.. Im thinkin his movements is how he feels the beats coming out..

As weird as he acts, he has a gift, and he is using... so I cant knock that.. Check your TV listings for the rerun just in case u missed it..
